Lights, Camera, ACTION ACTION ACTION! Yes that’s right. The Raid is very much an all action all go, full on movie! The fight scene (s) are so intricate. Think of the Matrix when we first saw incredible fast moving Marshall- Arts, plus Bruce Lee together and this is what you get. Well it’s a form of Ju Jitsu, Savate, Kempo, Tae Kwon Do, and, of course, Kung Fu mixed together to make one incredible fighting style. Iko Uwais who plays Rama is by far one of the best fighters I have seen on screen! The intensity of watching such dramatic fight scenes, leaves you on the edge of your seat throughout. You can hardly comprehend how many different movements you can possibly fit into one sequence of battering a human being. But Rama and his squad, certainly find the moves!
So when Rama and his elite special-forces team get ready for the raid the decrepitude 15 story block of apartments, they come up against a few obstacles. They manage to reach the 5th floor undetected, but are then spotted by a young child who informs block boss Tama (Ray Sahetaphy) though an intercom. Now let the ACTION begin!
